Cheap, good camera.?

Question

Ok, so, here's the deal, i am REALLY into photography. My family has a piece of c**p digital camera, that takes okay pictures, but is sooo slow i cant get any decent action shots of my horses running around. What i want to know is this- what is a good, CHEAP, digital camera, that meets my needs, or comes close to them? It doesn't have to be a big, fancy one, just a fast one with good outcome.

Well, hotdogse should win, because he/she told you about the A590IS which is a much better camera than the 750.  You will be glad to have the viewfinder on the 590 when you are taking pics in bright sunlight, because the LCD screen is worthless in sunlight.   Have fun taking pics!

Canon and Sony cameras are good to try.

You can have a look at Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital Camera ..It is good but not expensive..The lowest price i find for it is only $145.

Canon A-590IS best under $200 camera out there IMHO.
