  1. walmart or target. usually has lots of great toys for the little ones. you can usually find some good ones on clearance.

  2. WalMart has a good selection and the prices are reasonable.

Kids like to do role playing.  Miniature kitchens, tool-shops, dress-ups, etc. are a lot of fun and very educational for toddlers.  They are learning about the world around they through playing out what they see.

Supervised crayons, water-color paints, construction paper, blunt-edged scissors and glue sticks are another cheap, but very fun for kids this age.  They love to create and it helps them to improve their hand-eye coordination too.

The beauty about this age is that they are learning while playing.  It is effortless and fun.

  3. Toy R Us but look for SALES-some of the sale stock can get really cheap!

Car Boots: Often children are too old for the toys so parents wont rid-most or in good condition and for a couple of quid!-Often I say I'm from ap reschool and they'll give it too me for free-always good! :)

Warehouse shops-end of the line products, or shops who have over ordered!

TTS Group (ttsgroup.co.uk) some of their stock is cheap-some of it expensive...depends what you're looking for!

Toys that children stay interested in:

-Small World toys: Cars, people, dolls house, animal figures etc.

    -Sand Tray/Water Tray and toys

    -Home Corner toys-food, cooker etc.

-Outdoor toys like slides, climving frames and trampoline.

    -Trikes and outdoor push cars.

    -Painting

-Shape Sorters-ones that arent too hard for them!

  4. walmart target.

  5. Walmart :) and target

  6. Check out http://www.busybeetoystore.com They have a lot of quality wooden toys that last forever! They are always having sales, so you can get a really good deal. I would recommend blocks and puzzles for that age, my kids will play with blocks FOREVER! Hope you find what you are looking for.

  7. From http://www.backtobasicstoys.com/  they have a block set in a little wagon.  My daughter got these when she was 6 months old and now she's 3 and she's played with them almost daily.

    Play-Doh with cookie cutters

Try going to craigslist.org to buy second hand stuff

My daughter plays with her toy kitchen and doll house daily too.  We just got her a small kitchen from Step2 and the doll house is the Loving Family Doll house.  She plays with these toys daily too.
