Cheap Accommodation near-ish (or on train line) to sydney airport, with early check in??

Question

I have to go to Sydney on Friday 16th May. (this Friday). I will be in between flights, with an 8hr wait!!!! I don't know anyone in Sydney to kill time with. I have been to sydney before and don't care if I never see the Opera House again. I want to just hang out in a hotel room or some cheap accommodation close enough to the airport or at least on the train line. Don't want to spend $100's of dollars and I don't want to be bored. I arrive early in the morning from Melbourne and depart in the afternoon.

how about u go to a forumla one. there pretty cheap and its just a room with a couple of beds, a small bathroom and a tv.
