Cheap AirFare From Chicago to Merida, Yucatan Mexico?

Does anyone know where i can find a cheap ticket from Chicago to Merida, Mexico.

I'm planning on going from the 13th to the 23rd of March

Priceline was my best option, they had the tickets for $466 for a while, and i didnt buy the tickets thinking that the prices might drop. But to my horrible luck, now they are like almost 800. Anyone can help me out?? My budget it from $400-490. Do you think i still got a chance for priceline to drop again? thanks!

Well, the problem seems to be your return date: that is a Sunday.

You should look for your return date on March 24th or later.

There is no problem with the flights on march 13rd from Chicago to Merida.

Flights to Merida generally go up in price as the day gets closer because the plane gets more full. Merida is not like other places as far as airfare goes. There are only a few airlines that fly there from the States so there is not a lot of competition so airlines are not forced to drop prices.

If you can't find something to Merida consider Cancun and take the bus over. It will make for a long travel day but it may be cheaper.

(The bus ride from Cancun is about 4 hrs.)
