Cheap Airline tickets to Japan!?

I'm going to Japan towards the end of July and need to find some cheap airfare. If you know/been to Japan and know some cheap airline, please help!

Nothing is cheap in Japan, so if you're hoping to save money on the travel for your day-to-day expenses while you're there, you might as well swim to Japan.

Or try flying via unusual routes, like via Manila, or the new route on Jetstar between Cairns and Osaka (?), etc...

never been to Japan, but for flights in the US I have always had good luck with www.cheaptickets.com
