Cheap Car??

my stepdad bought me an 06 chevy cobalt last summer and my mom divorced him this past april. so he decided to take it back. now im left with no car, but need to get to work and school and im pretty much broke. im looking to spend under $1000. i live in monmouth county in New Jersey. anybody live in the tri state area selling a cheap car or anybody know of any good sites for really cheap cars??

Try ebay or craigslist. Other than that you might be able to get a decent car at a car auction for less than $1,000.

Use craigslist. You can filter the prices and it is local so you can check out the cars ahead of time.

you won't find any "good" cars for $1K,  but you will find some cheap cars.

cheap = Of poor quality; inferior:

it will take about $3 to $4,000 to find a good car.
