  1. if you find a "cheap" car you will probably end up spending more money to keep it running than if you had spent more to start with.

I understand you don't have this money but wait until you do and buy a better car.

    for $4,000

    look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

these are all reliable and will last longer than other cars in this price range.

  2. you can buy a good secondhand car cheaply, but if you r looking for a new one buy alto it gives good mileage and also is priced low or wait for the nano, your size is also important as all these cars are smaller models, tell me your size

  3. 95- Civic. They are old as dirt, never really worth much and they get great gas mileage.

  4. Craigslist.  Use it.

If you're in the Monterey area, Otis Auto Sales.

  5. you can go cheap...just make sure you get the flux capacitor check out.. it needs to be running at 1.21 jigawats.

if it needs a new one you can get it at advanced auto pretty cheap...they also install free :)

  6. Check the local auctions in your town. They might have something worth while. I almost purchased a vehicle at one. Well, can't say purchased, but I was looking to buy one. I ended up buying at Motor Time Auto. Now, I don't know how close you are to Cincinnati, Ohio, but that's where it's located. Nice people by the way. I purchased a '79 Cutlass Supreme from there. Mint conditon with all the original bells and whistles. Sorry. I didn't realize you were in Cali... :(

  7. buy a swift which is truely sporty and cheap
