  1. I would recommend YWCA accommodation for better connectivity and facilities.  It is quite safe and secure.  Though, it is not an hotel, but stay there at your budget.

  2. It depends on which area you want to stay. There are some new hotels in BTM ring road near Jaya Deva Circle.

or some in Jayanagar 4th Block.

If its near Majestic check, Kamat hotel (Landmark: New Sapna Book Store). Other good hotes are there in that area. Decent enough and close to Private Travels.

Not sure about the hotels very close to Majestic Busstand. Probably not safe for a single women.

  3. The main Majestic Area wherein u find the central intercity bus terminus and the railway station.

Kanishka, Nanda, sahara, and other lodges....( Not recommended for reasons of security)

Close by in gandhinagar area u find Pulakesi (sort of ok)

In the Cantonment area (where MG Rd and Brigade Rd is,) you find Citizens Lodge, Central Lodge etc...about Rs 500/day on hospital Rd and lady curzon Rd, and Infantry Rd.

Very safe area frequented by Brits, Germans, sweds and french.

Jayanagar, Koramangala, etc U have nothing for that sorta price.

  4. Hi Urrvi, Welcome to B'lore...

Here are some place where ucan find accommodation..

It is difficult to get a room in the Mahatma Gandhi Rd (MG Rd) area without a reservation. The rooms in the MG Rd area are generally good and in the middle of all the action. There are many cheap impersonal hotels near the railway and bus stations, but it is not nearly as nice a place to stay as the MG Rd area. There are also many hotels along Subahdar Chatram Rd (SC Rd), about a five-minute walk from the railway station.

    Where to Stay—Lower

Rainbow Hotel (670-2235), Sri Narasimharaja Rd, by City Market bus stand, has rooms for Rs 150/250 and A/C rooms for Rs 350. It is one of the best values in town.

Hotel Amar, 5-6 Ayurvedic Hospital Rd, is a good value with rooms with attached bath.

Hotel Prashanth, 21 E Tank Bund Rd, is a popular place with rooms that are a good value.

YWCA (223-8574), 40 Mission Rd, has rooms with bath for Rs 450/550. They accept both men and women.

There are Retiring Rooms at the City railway station for Rs 350 and Rs 450 with A/C. A dorm bed is Rs 125.

    Where to Stay—Bus Station Area

The cheaper hotels are around the bus station, south of the railway station.

Janata Lodge is a good, clean place that has rooms with bath for Rs 125/150.
