  1. You in all honestly aren't going to have much luck with this kind of notice.  I have found you one sailing out of New York and going to the Bahamas for $649.00 a person.

However, it is December - not August.

Another option is to check out the cruises sailing out of New York within your time frame and call them a couple of weeks before the cruise.  If they haven't booked up, they might work a deal with you.  Also, check in your area for cruise promotions - where you get to cruise by paying just the port fees, taxes and a small service charge.  I find them all over FL - but not sure if they do the same thing in NY.

Alaska is going to be out the question on your budget, and pretty much anything with airfare.  The sight that I sent you will have a lot of cruises that will leave out of New York, and that is going to be your best option.  You may also get a discount price of the teenagers (not sure) - which might help your budget a bit.

    Good Luck to you!

  2. I'd say it's going to be impossible to find a cruise within those parameters.  It's very late to try to book a cruise for Alaska for this summer.  You'd be hard-pressed to find cruise-only for your price - airfare would be extra [and Alaska is expensive - especially if you have different departure and return ports].

You might be able to find something for another destination at that price, but again, it's very late to be booking for August.  That's one of the busiest and more-expensive times of year to cruise, despite it being hurricane season.

I think you're going to have to save your money and plan to cruise next summer, or at another time during the year for the Caribbean/Mexico/Bahamas.

  3. Carnival is a really cheap Cruise line and they are really fun for teens and adults.

This is the cruise ive been on its super fun and i go on the 4 day sampler.

Prices do not include a fuel supplement of $9 per guest per day based on double occupancy; additional $4 per guest, per day for third, fourth and fifth guests.

  4. try all on-line sites and local travel agents, you'll need to do some work.

  5. Well, i go on cruises a lot. And i really seem to like the Carnival Cruise lines, the Royal Carribean are nice, but exspensive. Carnival Cruise Lines are nice and fun. Thats why they are called the "Fun Ships". My most recent one was Carnival Victory, i went to Cozumel, Mexico..Ocho Rios, Jamaica...and Grand Cayman Islands. It was a blast, and i really think you will enjoy it. All cabins are indoors by the way. Well on Carnival. The seven day cruise on it would be best. And I think you will REALLY REALLY like it. And by the way, you probably wont be able to get anything cheap like that, unless its c**p. You might also enjoy Carnival Destiny, one of the times, it goes to Nassua, Bahamas....Grand Turk....and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. Half Moon Cay is a private island owned by Carnival Cruise Lines. I love cruises SO much, im going on another one in a few months, and im take my best friend. We will have a blast, Hope I helped!

Based on your input, prices based on inside cabin per person, double occupancy is:

    Seattle to Alaska: Aug 24: $649. Aug 31: $649

    Vancouver to Alaska: Aug 16 and 30: $549, Aug: 23: $536

Miami to Caribbean/Bahamas: Several available in August at $499.

New York city to Caribbean/Bahamas: $499.

Long Beach, CA to Mexico: Aug 31: $589.

These prices do not include air fare. Based on a round trip flight from Chicago add about $300 or more. It might be best to book the flights separately. However, you will save tons of money because all of your food and entertainment are free. You also don't have to worry with the hassle of standing in airport lines, taking off your shoes and repacking your bags everytime you go to another destination. Also, a friendly reminder to make sure your passports and immunizations are up to date.

  8. You can find non-American cruise lines that will for sure sell one person a ticket that cheap.

But may I warn you the standards are also not American set so you may not want to do that.  Because the ships are not registered in America they do not hve to follow certain guide lines.

  9. You'd be lucky to find a cruise for under $100 per person per day without the airfare. Check out vacationstogo.com to see the prices for different places/cruiselines.
