Question:

Cheap European countries to travel to?

What are the cheaper European countries to travel to, for about 9-14 days? This includes accommodation, flights, food, and general expenses. My family and I might be travelling to Egypt, which has a low cost of living but since we live in Singapore, flight prices might be hefty. Is there anywhere in Europe that might be marginally cheaper on the whole than Egypt, or is that a straight-out no?

  3. I am french and i lived already in a lot of different countries in europe, now i am in Norway.

I will start by the really expensives ones, England, Norway, Sweden, Danmark, France, Germany, Austria, Nederlands, Belgium, italy and Spain in this order or close.

For the cheapest country you must try to go more west, the cheapest are gona be Poland Bulgaria, Romania Hungaria.

In the middle you will have Tcheck Republic, croatia slovenia, slovakia.

If you like the sun and whant to have it cheap i think Bulgaria, Spain and Portugal are the good places, grece is also a good deal.

    Enjoy

  4. Singapore's exchange rate to Euro is quite weak.  So I don't think you should consider going to Europe at the moment.  But if it's something that you and your family really want to do I would say Portugal would be inexpensive to visit.
