  1. Hello, I have a recipe for a cold pasta salad made with Mr. Noodles and coleslaw mix that is delicious, filling and costs about $5 to feed about 6 people! You'll need access to a camping stove to boil the noodle and the sauce and a cooler if you dont plan on eating it right away.

    Here is the recipe:

1 Package if Broccoli Slaw or coleslaw mix

    3 Green onions (chopped)

2 Packages of Mr. Noodles (I used Oriental flavor, but anything will do)

1 cup of almonds (whole or slivered)

½ cup of sunflower seeds (unsalted)

-cook Mr. Noodles following directions on the package and drain, cut and refrigerate them (without adding the spices)

    - mix slaw and onions and nuts in a big bowl, add Mr. Noodles once they are done.  **The nuts are optional and can be left out to reduce cost.

    Sauce

    1/3 cup white vinegar

    1/2 cup white sugar

    1/2 cup olive oil

2 packages of Mr. Noodle spice

-mix all the above ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a boil.  Allow to boil for 1 minute. Pour over Noodle/slaw mix and mix well.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

**You can premix the sauce at home before you leave and just boil it when you get to where you're going.

    Bonne Apetit!
