Cheap Golf Clubs?

Around easter i wanted to start playin golf so my dad got me a set of aspire xd2 clubs off ebay. I wasnt looking for anything fancy like callaway or titliest cause i wanted to make sure i liked the sport before spending all that money. well theyre cheap and i love the sport. i think theyre some sorta knockoff brand of nike cause the driver looks simialar to the SQ or whatever its called and the irons look like nike slingshot. im trying out for my high school golf team and i really wana get a nicer set of clubs, but i need to use the ones i have. how long do you think theyd last? or what do you think i should do in my sit.? thanx.

It's not the stick, it's the monkey swinging it.

Get to where you can hit most every fairway with your drives, get good contact and accuracy from the deck with your woods and irons, work on your chipping and your putting, and don't worry about what's in your bag.

Keep them clean, and of course don't abuse them after bad shots or for whatever reason, and they shouldn't fall apart on you.

Get playing with some guys from your HS team and see if you can hit a couple shots with their clubs, on the range or during a practice round. You'll start seeing what you like and don't like, so you'll know what clubs to buy when you can afford them.
