Question:

Cheap London eaterie for our xmas meal?

I'm organising the xmas meal for about ten people from a group I belong to. Cost is an issue for some of our members so max £20 a head, also we'd like to bring our own booze. We meet in Russell Square so around there or in central London is good. Ethnic food is fine but Brick Lane's too far from the centre. Any suggestions? I don't fancy a chain restaurant.

  1. Amaranth, which is a Thai restaurant that serves decent food and caters for parties and special occasions, so Christmas wouldn't be a problem. You can bring your own wine but there is a corkage charge of just over two quid. The only problem is it isnt in the centre of London, just out side.
