My fiance is in the military and were trying to get him home next month do u know of any websites or hints to getting cheap tickets or tickets at a lower rate for military?

  1. Most airlines offer a "military rate", that is cheaper than the fully refundable coach fare.  HOWEVER, it is normally NOT cheaper than the non-refundable fare.  Of course, being in the military you're gambling with your airfare if you take a non-refundable/exchangeable ticket.  It's your money.

    The only other "cheap ticket" would be space-available travel on military airlift.  This is pretty dicey: but if it works for you, you can travel just about anywhere for under $50.
