Question:

Cheap Turbo Cars????

I'm trying to find a cheap, reliable, automatic turbo car. I don't want to add anything flashy, but rather have a nice, fast car to have fun with. My budget is 5-9k. Any ideas?

  1. 1989 S13 Silvia K's. Get one in good nick (4.0 or 4.5 auction rating), that is standard and unmodified with low mileage.

  2. Eclipse GSX/GS-T

    Eagle Talon Tsi

    Saab 9-3

    Volvo 750

    Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

You're guaranteed to find nice examples of those in your price range.

    Good luck!

  3. AUTO TRADER

  4. It depends where you live as the price of cars differs between places,

These are decent Auto's with a single turbo set up the autobox has a overdrive button as well as a Power button which allows redline changes also a snow button for winter changes.

The car is def not a sit down and go car with a very responsive pedal one light touch and you away at good speed. Its not a matter of waiting for the box the power is there straight away.

The version before being the R32 also had a rev hold button which held the revs.

The R34 has the advantage of a triptronic box.

You can pick these cars up with silly mileage mine is a 96 and only done 56000 miles.

reliable i drove one on a 2000 mile road trip and it went with no problems at all.

    Other decent ones are the

    300zx

    supra

    gto/3000gt

    silvia

    180sx

    evo

    impreza

    to name a small few.
