Cheap Vespa (GT 200, GTS 250, LX 150)?

I have about 6,000 to spend i really want to go on the highway, How much are they and what are top speeds.

Also i might buy in march 2009 is it worth waiting and will new models come out, are they cheaper, or more expensive

They will not be cheaper. You  need at least a 250 for steady highway use. If you do not have to have a Vespa  look at Kymco they are cheaper and as good if not better. The people 250s is along the same lines as a Vespa .

You should also look at the Suzuki Burgman 400 and the Yamaha Majesty 400.  They are styled differently than the Vespa products, but are high quality, good value for a maxi scooter, and highway capable.
