Cheap Xbox 360 repair?

My Xbox 360 stopped working a few weeks ago. I would turn it on, but no picture would show up on the TVs. It is broken for sure, so don't tell me to try anything else. I tried everything, and even called Microsoft. They told me that I would have to send it in and have it repaired for $99. I would do this, however I keep getting distracted buying other things. Does anybody know of another way in which I can get it repaired? I don't want to repair it myself, and I don't want to pay $99 for stupid repair. If there isn't any other way, then I will do the repair from Microsoft, but I would like to have other options.

Have you gone to a store, like best buy, to see what could be done?

why not just buy a new one but if you want it repaired instead i think best buy can fix it but i dont know for how much

your only was is to go to www.craigslist.org and find someone in your area that is can fix the xbox 360.
