Cheap accommodation in Liverpool?

I'm looking for a double / twin room in Liverpool for a weekend in July - happy to stay in a hostel or B & B but needs to be as cheap as possible!! Thanks

travelodge on the Dock road, DONT do the IBIS it's like somewhere you book for a dirty weekend it's a seedy brothel type and the staff arent a bit helpful have a look on line at liverpool08 info jul could be busy a lot of the concerts are on then
