Cheap accomodation in Brisbane for a guy for 10 days?

I will be visiting Brisbane for about 10 days. Can anyone let me know what are my best options for cheap accommodation apart from hotels which charge nothing less than $100 a day. Thanx

you could try 'bed and breakfast" places but it sepends on where in Brisbane you are looking at staying

l worked at the Y.H.A. in brisbane a few years back, nice and clean and cheap accomodation, look up their website, plus its right in the city, walking distance to everything and have a great cheap cafe catering for all meals and tastes

umm you could try a holiday home let,these can work out really cheap and sometimes can get an apartment in the centre of the city for a couple hundred for a week, try www.brisbaneholidayhomes.com.au

Toowong is only one train stop from brisbane and for 10 days a motel is likely to give you a good rate. try for a deal . there is also the formula 1 motel but that is a little out of the way , it's nearer the airport and I believe it's under $70 a night. Their phone number is [07] 38683457
