Cheap acre of land?

I want to buy an acre of land around the bay area. does any one know the nearest place around the bay area that I can buy an acre of land for under $20,000? I want to build my dream home.

Are you talking about the SF bay area?

You are a couple digits off, add 2 more zeros and you MIGHT find something.

The cheapest I would find within 100 miles is in Fairfax for $370,000

I searched the entire state and could not find a single 1 acre lot for sale under 50k.....even remote desert land.
