Cheap and Easy Sports Games for kids party?

I am going to be having a sports themed party for preschool - 4th graders and I would like to do some games. Do you guys have any suggestions on cheap and easy games to play.

  1. Soccer and touch football might be good options. All you need is a ball. Dodgeball is also fun.


  2. Well, I remember when I was in grade school I loved capture the flag.

    I don't know if you know all the rules for that, but it's basically you have two sides, a ball on each side of the field at the end, and some kind of belts. These belts can just be made out of paper, but they need to be loose enough to stay on but not enough to fall off easily. Then basically you split 2 teams, and each team tries to run to the other side and bring the ball back to the other side to score a point. When team one is on team two's side, team two then can rip off the belt of the invaders to send that person to the first side. Basically one game can be about 10 or 30 minutes, or you can just set the limit of each one to be like the winner is the first to 5 or 10 goals. However you need tape on each end of the field so they can retape their flags, but that's pretty cheap.

    Me and my homies used to love this game in grade school, so your kids should enjoy it.
