  1. Ristorante ZaZa is a nice mixture of locals and tourists.  And I have to tell you it was one of the best meals I have ever had.  I had the trio of soups and trio of meat.  Just thinking about it now is making my mouth water.  They do have a website so you can check it out.

  2. I don't remember where it is but someone could probably tell you - go to Ristorante Nella...we went on the recommendation of my parents who had been there a few years before us.  Oh - what a meal!  Tiny, tiny, tiny little place with a jovial owner who walks around making everyone laugh while he sips wine.  Very cheap prices...awesome food.  We went two nights in a row!  It was not far from Mercato Centrale.

  3. ♦Nerbone serves great panino con bollito (boiled beef sandwich). Stall #292, 1st Floor, Mercato Centrale (Central Market), entrance on Via dell'Ariento. Perini's Deli can burst your picini8c baske, but no your wallet. They sell everyhing from prosciutto Toscana, cheese, wild boar meat sauce, marinated olives, sundried tomatoes, and whatever antipasti you can think of. They can vacuum-pack for you. They're also generous wih their free samples.

    Enjoy! (--,)

  4. Just take a walk around some of the pedestrian alleys and around the food markets in san lorenzo and you will find some very nice food at pretty cheap prices
