  1. Don't forget about me down here in Acapulco.

Need any help link over and give me your e mail.

Best time for ALL of Mexico is November thru April. Cold in the states and wonderful here. Low humidity , no mosquitos its heaven, no rain , no clouds. Plan accordingly.

We got Ixtapa and Zuihuantinaho 2 and a half hours drive to the north , with Playa Azull in Beteewn.

I should be gettin' paid by the tourist agency or somethin"

  2. Check into Merida, in Yucatan! It is a very inexpensive colonial city, and ranks among one of the safest areas in Mexico, with very low crime and corruption rates. There is tons to do here, and the Mayan culture is one that will spellbind you as you explore. It is also conveniently located near some of the Gulf Coast's best beaches, with none of the crime, expense, and corruption of Cancun.

  3. check out the reviews of Posada Luna del Sur in the link below.

  4. Guayabitos, beaches near Puerto Vallarta.

    It's so much fun

  5. You didn't mention if you need the beach or not. The places with beaches in the known tourist areas are all pretty safe. There are "tourist police," who are there just to look after you and they are very good (tourism is a very huge money maker for Mexico).

The most economical tourist beaches would probably be Mazatlan, Zihuatenejo, Manzanillo, Acapulco, Pie de la Cuesta and Puerto Escondido on the Pacific and maybe Veracruz, Nautla (Costa Esmeralda) and Tecolutla on the Gulf.

Even more economical (pretty safe and very nice) might be Puebla, Xalapa, Chetumal, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Tuxtla, Patzcuaro, Merida or Zacatecas. All depends what you want to do and see.
