Hi, I am thinking about trading in my 2002 Kia Spectra when I pay it off soon, I need to get some opinions on cheap not new, but maybe 2-5 years old that has good mileage, lots of space but still considered a car-sedan. I also would like the car not to make noise over 60.

  1. Pontiac Vibe / Toyota Matrix

    Kia Rondo low cost alternative

  2. Halo there,

I think you shouldn't limit your option because there's actually a lot of cheap cars on auction at http://www.cheapcarhunter.com/

    Hope that helps. :)

  3. Depends on what your price range is.

Like Toyotas, Hondas and Nissan...however, they are in demand right now and go for a premium.

Save yourself some money, a good Buick LeSabre used is a good car.  Look for a 3800 engine in the GM line.  They depreciate quickly and are fairly reliable.

  4. I have a Toyota Camry XLE with a 4cyl. On a recent 300 mile round trip, I averaged right around 37MPG. It has a computer that tells you your average mileage, and it is usually a little over 30MPG in mixed driving. It is a nice big car with a killer factory stereo. It isn't going to win any races, but it isn't a slug either. I would recommend it to anyone.
