I was wondering if anybody knew of any cheap places to eat at these times and areas:

lunch and dinner around Fremont (Binion's, Palace Station, etc.)

lunch on the center strip (between Flamingo's and Harrah's)

dinner on the center strip (between Flamingo's and Bill's, also between Caesar's Palace and Flamingo's)

  1. Here's a link that has some really good places listed!!

    http://www.vegas.com/restaurant/specials...

    Examples:

$7.77: Gambler's Special: Steak, three grilled shrimp, a choice of potato or broccoli and a salad. At Mr. Lucky's 24/7 in the Hard Rock Hotel. It's not on the menu -- you'll have to ask your server -- and is available around the clock.

$7.99: All-you-can-eat pasta, salad and bread at Pasta Palace at the Boulder Station, available Sunday-Tuesday, 4 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

2.50: Well drinks at the The Plaza

    I hope this helps!

  2. Eat a 1.99 shrimp cocktail and share a hotdog, (they are big) with a friend at the Golden Gate, downtown for lunch.  If you're on the Strip, go to O'Shea's next to the Flamingo and have lunch at the food court there.  For dinner, The Pasta Palace at Palace Station has a very good dinner deal $9.99 for all you can eat pasta, salad and bread.  Or go to the newly remodeled cafe for a steak and shrimp special.  If it's not on the menu, ask for it. It's good and inexpensive.

Buffets.  The Sahara has a decent one, it's seldom crowded and is one of the least expensive on the Strip.

  3. Denny's are ALL OVER vegas. That place is a  great staple to any budget. It's just like IHOP but a little trashier. I know we survived on some Denny's.

  4. For lunch/dinner around Fremont, I would recommend Main Street Station's buffet. They have a decent selection and are very reasonably priced.

For lunch, my recommendations are slightly off the Strip, but probably worth the trip. They are both on Flamingo about 1 mile east of the Strip and are in the same parking lot. The Stir Fired Grill Mongolian BBQ is a Mongolian BBQ place featuring fresh vegetables and meats. You choose your items like at a salad bar and they stir fry them right there for you. Prices range from about $8-$12 per person, but you can control your portions and selection.

Just past that is Raising Cane's, which serves some quite delicious chicken fingers. Combos run about $6-$7

For dinner, if you like ribs, I would suggest Ellis Island. It is slightly off the Strip, behind Bally's on Koval and is a locals place, but it has the best ribs I have had in town. For about $12, you get a full rack of ribs and all the fixins. They also serve their own microbrew draft for about $1.50 a glass. They are only open after 4:30 pm and there is always a waiting list, so I would go early.

I would stay away from chain restaurants such as Denny's or Outback Steakhouse on the Strip, as their prices are higher than they would be off the strip. Most of the fast food places are comparably priced with off-Strip locations, but some may be slightly higher. You should be able to find just about everything from Subway and McDonalds to Chipotle and Panda Express.

  5. treasures strip club 4-6 free buffet...free drinks....6-8 free buffet and buy one get one free drinks

  6. You could check the obituaries in the local paper and see when funerals are planned, they generally feed pretty well after one of these functions--and it's free. Just a thought!

  7. mcdonalds.

  8. there's a Jimmey Buffet on the strip between Harrahs and Flamingo plus a Burger King in the basement of the place on  the corner across the street from Balley's. Barberry Coast casino.

  9. all you need is this website, i already set it up, you can narrow your search down by your price for example, or the type of cuisine, and location or even the hotel you're eating it

    http://www.vegas.com/searchagent/restaur...

i believe you said your price range was $20 so if you were to narrow down by price range you would put $15 - $25

    hope it helped =]

  10. go to the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock during Happy Hour.  You have to sit in the bar to get the deals, but their appetizers are all half off (great drink specials too) the appetizer platter is awesome, so are their nachos.  May not be particularly healthy, but really good food.  Also, Capriotti's has really good sandwiches and they are all over the city, so there is probably one near where you are staying.  The Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood) has one of the best buffets, under $20 for lunch and uncludes a drink.  Have fun!

  11. well there will bee many lunch prices all over the place in vegas. but what you want to look out for is the ones that say that they have a cheap burger or a cheap slice of pizza. but when you want to get a soda with it and some side that is when you will see that price jump up to $15
