There are tons of buffets that are good for a cheap price, but go a little before or a little after lunch because they get packed quickly.

Inside the parks is expensive, but weigh your options.

Outside of the parks area there is every type of fast food that you can imagine. They are the most reasonable. You can always pack your own picnic.

In short, leave Disney/Universal.   Downtown Orlando has many decent inexpensive restaurants.   Within Disney and on Disney properties, they have a command audience and can charge 50% more than outside of the park properties.

they're overpriced cause they're general good, and a cheap place is McDonalds, right there in Down Town Disney.

Just bring your own food. Food in theme parks are usually way overpriced.

Want fast food? Right across Downtown Disney Marketplace at the crossroads there is McDOnalds Taco Bell they also have Red Lobsters TGI Friday, Chevys, Unos Pizza, Perkins.

At Downtown Disney Earl Of sandwich has good salads and sandwiches too

The Chinese buffets are the best.  On the west end of Kissimmee there is Ace Buffet.. you'll see Christmas style lights on it if you travel at night.. that's my favorite, but I've moved away from there.

Going east in Kissimmee, towards Polynesian Isle Blvd is the Vegas buffet (also Chinese)..may be getting pricier.

Along International Dr (aka I-Drive) there's a number of buffets, but I haven't tried them yet.
