Cheap epedition hoilidays to northern lights and/or the North Pole/Artic?

I would really love to go on a hoiliday to see the Northern lights/ or maybe an expedition to the north pole/artic. The ones I have seen so way out of my price range, £2000-£5000. Is there anything cheaper nearer £800.

Even if you find a cheap holiday unless you're taking food for the whole holiday it will be expensive. Meals are around £20 (and by meal i mean burger and chips)
