  1. Hey I'd actually recommend trying aer lingus,

if you time it well you can get good prices with aer lingus and they fly into the main paris airport which is very convenient as it actually connected to the metro line.

Ryan air flies to beauvais which is an hour outside of Paris and the bus will cost you at least 20euro return. I had a bad experience in the past when a flight got delayed from there. I know you can have bad experiences with anybody but my main problems were

1- they didn't tell us about the delay until about 25mins after my mother phoned my asking if my flight had been cancelled

2- it was the last flight of the day so we were to be put on A flight the next day, the ryan air staff disappeared so they wouldn't have to deal with us

3- legally they are obliged to provide us with refreshments and food- they did not do this

4- we were stuck waiting at airport for about 2 hrs for buses to bring us to hotels we were forced to pay for ourselves(we were promised a refund but when we tried to get in touch with ryan air about this they refused to deal with us

5- We arrived at a "hotel" close to 2am and were told we would have to get the bus back to the airport at 6.45 so they could use the buses to collect people from paris(we weren't necessarily getting flights til lunchtime)

6- They charged us for breakfast that was supposed to be free ( legally they must provide refreshments)- they did not offer us any refreshments at all even on the flight(well if you paid!)

Sorry long and rambling, but I was really annoyed, there's lots of other reasons why that I don't have down here.... I've used ryan air many times before and many times since and would recommend them, but I just have a problem with the paris one- because of this incident and also cos sometimes aerlingus isn't much more expensive, it gets you into paris city, saves u an hr commute and I just think that generally they treat you better

  2. Go to Ryanairs website and join their mailing service.. I got return flights to Paris from sahnnon, Ireland for 35 euro including taxes they have offers like this all the time. Also if u have time I advise you to try visit the west coast of Ireland..Im from Ireland and like most people I dont like Dublin as much as Galway, Ennis etc Ireland is so small and its easy and worthwhile to get around!Go to a festival in Artsy Galway and explore Connamara where there are fantastic beaches and the locals still speak irish!!Lahinch County Clare and Doonbeg are great beaches for relaxing and surfing!

Here are some low fare companies in Europe.  I am especially fond of Ryan Air.

  4. I agree about Aer Lingus.  If you book far in advance it isn't much more expensive and you'll have peace of mind that your flight will take off on time (probably) and they still have customer service.  Ryan Air is cheaper but the customer service is non-existent.   After we had many bad experiences with Ryan Air, we decided to spend a bit more and go Aer Lingus for all of our travel out of Dublin.
