  2. Hi Natasha. I have two suggestions, FUSAC (France USA Contacts) and the Paris Voice. They're English-language magazines distributed free of charge throughout the city. When actually in Paris, I'd also recommend checking out the bulletin board at the American Cathedral (23 avenue Georges V in the 8ème arrondissement, Alma Marceau métro station on line 9), by the way. I've provided the links below. Good luck!

  3. Be prepared to have to live in a very small flat. We have a couple of friends who live in about 30m² in the 13th arrondissement - and they are not cheap flats.

  4. If you speak French then I suggest these sites:

    www.pap.fr (rentals from owners)

    www.seloger.fr (rentals from agencies)

    Otherwise they also have listings at the American church (you just have to go and look at the bulletin board and take your chances) or as someone already suggested pick up a Fusac if you're already in Paris or try their website.
