Cheap flight from Israel to Los Angeles, HELP?

Ok, this is for the expert here.

I am in Israel, I want to fly to Los Angeles and get a one way ticket.

I saw a flight that is 650$ one way , Israel-Germany, Germany- L.A.

My question is: If I'll fly to Europe with the same airline but in Europe I'll take an arabic airline (like Emirates, heard they are cheap) to LAX will that be cheaper?

yeah, you can do that. i've done that before on international flights. also, if you book close to your departure date you can get really cheap tickets. mess around with different dates a few weeks in advance and I'm sure you'll find something cheap.
