Cheap flights to New York?

Question

I want to go to NY from the 28dec - 4 Jan 09 from London ro visit some family. Does anyone know of any sites that do cheap(er) flights?

I have looked over many sites, the cheapest i've found it £380 (maybe £344) and i know they are not going to be much cheaper than that, but every cent counts in NY lol

From london gatwick or heathrow and where are you wanting to land in NY? and do you want a direct flight or a stop? Then, i shall have a bash at looking on line :)

Edit: Okay i looked on compare the market and they rang from £500 - £1000! Madness! Even with a stop, it was no cheaper! I'll keep searching haha.

I can't seem to find any that are lower then American Airlines, i've flown with AA 5 times (We flew to NY with them once also), they are a great airline to go with. Hope i was of some use, have a wicked time in NY!
