Question:

Cheap full seat breeches?

Nothing beats the extra security of a full seat breech in a dressage saddle, but after buying many "quality" pairs of full seats just to have them wear out and get stained just as fast as the cheaper ones I have, I am at a loss. I love wearing them every time I ride, but I ride daily, and shelling out 70-100 dollars a pair on breeches is kind of silly. However, I can't seem to find some cheap "everyday" fullseats ANYWHERE. Suggestions?

  1. you should try and see if there are any sales on the internet. and go to the used tack store that is closest and a lot of times they have so many pants they don't know what to do with. but i you live in California there is a place called Stable Snob. but good luck

  2. you could go for used ones... it may sound gross to you but seriously, you're going to be around horses so theyre not going to be very clean anyway. if i were you i'd go with used, especially if you go through pairs quickly. also get one pair of nice ones that you save for important days, and only wear them right before you're going to ride, that way you'll save money

  3. Try getting a pair of black ones just for practice. They will not get stained as easily as beige one because they are dark.

Then, get a pair of beige ones just for shows.
