Cheap hotel/motel in queens or brooklyn??

hi - i'm lookin for a very reasonably priced room in queens or brooklyn, like for under $100. please let me know if you know of anythin!

People dont know what there talking about on yahoo answers.

You DEFINATLY could find a place for under 100$ but you really dont want to, some rooms can be Extremely dirty,

for 160 a night you could be sleeping in an embassy suites or something better.

Look on priceline or something, and call them up.

Be perparered for less taht 3 star rating.

Here is a new Howard Johnson's hotel/motel that was recently built almost two years ago.  

Here is the name and location.  It is located in Eastern Queens in the area known as Queens Village.

That is the local phone number and a room at the end of September with a Triple AAA card membership discount comes to $89.10 per night.

The Q36 bus is located in front of the hotel and this bus runs 24/7 and with a metrocard  take this bus and a free transfer to the F Train at the 179th street subway station and in almost an hour you will be in mid-town Manhattan near all the tourist sites.  A weekly unlimited use metro card costs $25.00 and this will give you unlimited travel on all the buses and subways in New York City.  Also you can take the N24 bus in front of the Howard Johnson'swit the same metrocard and take it to the famous shopping mall in Roosevelt Field in Westbury Long Island.

Check out the above link.  Click on to it and you can see choice #1 # 2 and #4 are good locations.  Choice #2 is one block from the Number 7 subway train at main Street and Roosevelt Ave.  (This hotel is located in Flushing which is a large Chinese speaking area)

Hotel choice number 4 is the closest to Manhattan but it is still in Queens.  The cheapest one under $100.00 per night is choice nmber one.
