Cheap hotel /other accommodation options near Charles De Gaulle Airport and Lyon train station in Paris?

Hi friends,

I am going to Paris, France on 1st of June. Since I am going France for the first time, I am looking for your feedback on accommodation and other matters. We will be two friends travelling together and we need to find a cheap hotel /other accommodation options near Charles De Gaulle Airport and Lyon train station. Can you suggest any such hotels which can be near to these two spots? Also how can I travel to Eiffel tower and other major other spots in Paris? What is the entrance fee for Eiffel tower?

Please feel free to give more information on any relevant topic as well.

I'm a bit confused as the airport is far from the city center while the Gare de Lyon is in the city. Which one do you want to stay close to as you cannot be close to both.

It costs 12 € to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

EDIT:The Gare de Lyon is in the 12th arrondissment which is easy to get to from any other address in central Paris. If price is your main concern then you need not restrict yourself to the area immediately around the station.

You could, for example, stay at the Hotel Tiquetonne    

at 6 rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arrondissment where a double with private bath costs only 50 euros a night. This is only a 15 minute bus ride from the Gare de Lyon.

I would strongly advise against hotels near the airport. They are usually for people making a stop over or a very early flight, and it is a hassle to get to the sites from the airport every day.

The airport is in the middle of no where.  It's not convenient to anything you'll likely want to visit.  You're better off staying near Gare d'Lyon.
