We want to go for Xmas/New Year. Any ideas for good online sites offering cheap deals? They all seem expensive so far!

  1. I just recently booked hotel/flight for a trip in late January using Expedia. Because you are going to Vegas during the holidays, it will be a little more expensive than usual. The good news is that if you book now instead of waiting until a few weeks before you go, you will save some money.

I found that Expedia and Orbitz were offering the best package deals... this week. The best deals can change, depending on several factors, including the price of gas, what's going on in Vegas, etc. Check out http://www.sidestep.com because they search several travel sites, and that will give you a good baseline for the types of deals you can get. Sometimes, you can even find better packages than if you have a promotion code for one item (hotel or flight). You can also check out my site ( http://simplifyinglasvegas.com/members.h... ) for a list of good sites for package deals.

It also depends on what kind of hotel you want to stay at in Vegas. Sometimes you can find the same type of hotel at a better cost in a package deal. For example, if you're looking at the Imperial Palace but are not particular about staying mid-Strip, try the Riviera or the Stratosphere on the North side of the Strip for a more cost-effective vacation.

    Good luck!!

  2. Hotels can always be found for decent prices there.  Try here:

Vegas.com may also be a good place to try.

  3. I booked a trip to Vegas through earlyvegas.com, they have really good deals and great promo codes to use. We got a really good price on a hotel and the site is really nice, they have great pictures, and good reviews and it's very informative.

  4. Just got back from Vegas last night. Definitely try these two sites. I've always found EXCELLENT deals on them for Vegas. $64 per night at the Luxor, $100 per night at the Venetian. Definitely check them out.

  5. Here is a good source for discount Las Vegas hotels on the Strip.

  6. im a local here in vegas. try vegas.com. they have all the good deals for anything you might want to do here. see a show, go out for dinner, etc. not sure if they do flights, but im pretty sure it would be cheaper.

if not, try priceline.com. thats what i use for my airline travels. they have great package deals when flying and booking a room.

  7. vegas.com

  8. Book your flights sepertaly and your hotel direct on an offer code. By doing it this way if the rate drops as long as you have not booked a non refundable offer you can call the hotel and get them to drop your rate.

  9. A great site for hotel deals is http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com but I guess that you are too early for Xmas/New Years Eve offers. I assume they will be published in the next months.

  10. Youi picked the most expensive time of the year to travel. Do not expect much in the line of discount for that week. What you get right now is probably as low as you are going to see. Book it.

  11. check jetblue.  They always are the cheapest when I go there.

  12. Im a local. I use the mgm mirage website. They own many of the properties on the strip. Often they have flight and room packages that are cheaper and nicer than any travel site.. And typicaly offer food, spa, and gaming deals with the package. My favorite hotel is the luxor because it has great rooms, a club, and nice restraunts.

  13. I would recommend getting your tickets through Orlando Fun Tickets at http://www.OrlandoFunTickets.com and I know if you call them they can give you hotel advice too.

    I hope this helps!
