  4. Homestead Raleigh - Crabtree Valley.

    It's about the cheapest I found in Raleigh.

    Check it out, then try Priceline.  (I ended up getting Homestead for about $35 a night last year.)

    Good location too, right on Glenwood just up from the Mall.

  5. The Days Inn at the corner of Lane Street and Dawson Street is pretty cheap and within walking distance to a lot of great stuff in downtown (dining, etc).
