  1. There are a few places around that offer good value Japanese.

    For takeaway, try Delicatessen Yoshino

Restaurants you could try, with links:

    Zipangu

    Sakura

  2. ソーセージののらくら者

    Kensington High St.

  3. A cheap but more casual Japenese restaurant in London is Wagamama. They are all over the place. They tend to do cooked Japanese foods - noodles, rice, soups and dumplings. They also serve raw fruit and vegetable juices, Jasmine tea or Japanese beer/Saki. Alternatively, try Bento. They are slightly more pricey but the food is good. Their food range is like Wagamama's but they also serve sushi. An alternative is Wasabi,  which does cooked foods and sushi but tends to operate on a take out basis. I also hear there are some good Japanese places in the West End, although I could not tell you where they are.

My advice is to Google 'Japanese restaurants, London' and see what comes back.
