Cheap nice dining in London?

i love dining out but it's all so expensive in central london. Does anyone know of any nice, less expensive places with good food and a good standard of hygiene and atmosphere?

GEM in Upper Street N1 near Highbury & Islington station. Very cheap, nice turkish/greek food. The place is cute too.

YES!  You want to check out Little Bay.  I've been for some really memorable meals in there, and the prices are just amazing.  If you eat before 7pm it's even cheaper!

I LOVE LITTLE BAY.  The Battersea restaurant even has wandering opera singers!  :D

Last week- me & me fiance went to watch Grease. We got a deal from lastminute.com, two tickets to see Grease & two meals (two courses) at Sugar Reef. That all came to £53. I know that isnt too cheap but you get to see a show & dine out! Lastminute.com have loads of good deals! Good luck! ♥ღ♥

There is a good website called TopTable. It allows you to search for restaurants by location, price range etc. It gives you loads of usefull informaiton such as menus, prices, reviews etc as well as offering loads of great deals and offers. You can also earn points on the site which when accumulated gives you options to dine out for free.

My current fav cheap eat is Wahaca in Covent Garden. Cool looking place, lively, clean and good value

They have loads of offers i.e 2 for 1 or meal for £5, etc
