  2. I have seen a blog just recently with all kinds of great snowboarding items like clothing, boots, and gear I also seen free video on there too for skiing and snow boarding it's a must see site just look around it's mixed in all the posts you'll see it it's enlarged text for the free videos, and regional conditions

  3. Buy a set of climbing skins.

I think mine were about $125 MSRP. Buy those and never pay to ski again.

If earning your turns doesn't appeal to you then I suggest you start looking online for deals at the various resorts you wish to ski. I can't speak for the rockies or west coast resorts, but I can tell you for certain there are plenty of deals in Vermont.

Likewise...you can always volunteer with ski patrol or become a mountain ambassador someplace you like too ski. I know lots of Killington/Pico volunteers who drive to the mountain from NYC, NJ, Boston, and lower New England several weekends a year to either teach, patrol, or help guests. They have a minimum work requirement, but they ski for free. Finally...the super-easy way, is to organize a group trip. You get a good rate for everyone else and you take the comps they give you because you are the group leader. I used to do this all of the time.

There's a lot of give-and-take in the ski business when it comes to freebies. You help out the ski area and they will help you out...most likely.

  4. sno mountain, its pretty cheap and has great skiing, tubing and snowboarding. you will love it there, its in scranton penslyvania, i just went there a few days ago.

  5. Bulgaria is cheap I have been to borovets in bulgaria and the skiing was good for beginners and intermediates food was cheap and alcohol was cheap too

  6. Velka Raca in Slovakia is cheap and good for the family or first timer.  Lift pass, board and boots for £125 accommodation for on week £80 and flights for as little as £50 depending on when you book them.  Blue, red and black runs with a park for the snowboarders.  Very cheap food pizza £2 pint of beer 75p oh and the Slovaks are very friendly.

  7. a pretty cheap place is Sugar Mountain in Knoxville Tennesee.  I am going on a church trip there this weekend.  It cost me 90 dollars to stay at the place that we are staying at and a portion of the money goes to food.  so if you are just gonna go there and go sking it should be a lil less than 90 dollars or so unless they were having a bargain or something

    =] hope i helped

  8. I've just come back from a week in Ruka in Finland.  The whole holiday was under £500 including 1 weeks self catering accommodation, flights, airport transfers, ski hire, ski pass and 1 week's worth of ski lessons.

Ruka is mainly red and Blue runs so great if you are beginner or intermediate.  I really loved it out there.

    It was through Crystal ski.

  9. Were are you?

New York has a lot of cheap places.

A cheap state owned very good resort is belleayre. I have had a season pass there for 3 years and I am not bored yet. If you are in southern Vermont Bromley is very fun and cheap

Pennselvania has a lot in the poconos

just look for ski resorts around you
