Cheap places to stay near toronto?

I'm trying to move to toronta asap and need to know where all the cheap(er) places are. Doesn't matter how bad the places are i just really need a cheap place to stay. Anyone know an area???

Scarborough generally has cheaper apartments than if you were to go further into the core of the city.
