  1. drink water. water, water, water.

it's the solution to all your problems.

  2. Google search for The Acne Practice.  No info is available online about the products, themselves, so  I am blogging my use of a product called The Acne Practice bootcamp and I will answer a question fo $1 tip at www.intheglow.typepad.com.  This is not a cheap way to clearer skin but, if it works, over the long-haul, it more than pays for itself.  Also, if you don't have an athome glycolic peel, I suggest you invest in one.

  3. Try the AcneFree products. They are basically the same thing as ProActive but cheaper. I use them and they work great! You can buy them at a lot of stores like Costco for example.  It is a 3 step product that you use once a day and the bottles last for a long time. The price is only about $25!

  4. - No sun exposure and ALWAYS wear a thick coat of sunscreen/wear a hat when you're outside. Instead take in vitamin d with your diet.

    - Moisturize

    - Use masks/facials 2-3 times a week. You can make them at home with simple household food items (http://www.free-makeup-tips.com/home-rem...

    - Facial scrubs every morning. I use St. Ives. Love it. Look for the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide.

That's my remedy for clearer skin.

  5. Do you know what calamine lotion is?You can find it in the pharmacy section of any store. Its recommended for children with chicken pox sometimes. Its like this drying lotion thats works really good when you put it directly on the pimples (after you know draining them if you have to). I used to use it at night before I went to bed. Then just rinse it in the morning with soap and water. Oil of Olay is a good face wash and guys or girls can use it.

  6. You can use a facewash with tiny microbeads to scrub your face, and Apply a 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Cream to your problem areas before moisturizing. YOU NEED TO MOISTURIZE! Try it for about 2 or 3 weeks you will see INSTANT results!

  7. What you eat has an impact on your skin, so eat more fruits and veggies and lay off of junk foods and you'll see more results. I don't think teens can control it 100% but the improvements you make will make them practically unnoticeable.

  8. Water, good healthy foods, limit your sun exposure. 15 mins max per day - without sun block, gives you essential levels of Vit D.
