Cheap sport cars?

Question

Looking for my first car and I want that sport car feel (coupe). I got around 3grand to spend and so far I've only been looking for an Integra but since I can't find any good ones, I'm looking to expand my search.

I was looking at civics as well but since everybody seems to have only, i don't want one. So if you could give me any suggestions, it would really help out.

heres a list of cheap sports cars that you might be interested in.

1.chrysler conquest tsi from the 80's(also called a mitsubishi starion)

2.1980's mazda RX-7

3.nissan 180/240sx

4.dodge stealth/mitsubishi 3000GT

5.ford contour i know what your thinking grandma car right you are dead wrong my buddy  has the svt contour and it hauls ***

For 3 grand, you are limited to a year range, not neccessarily model range.

Go back about 7-10 years, and find a model that you like.

I would reccomend the Eagle Talon, and possible even a late 80's Corvette or 5.0 Mustang.

First time drivers usually have much higher rates than others. And it depends from car.

Such a sporty car costs a lot to insure.

older mustangs you can find pretty cheap.. but they suck on gas. i personally like german cars.. maybe a vw?

for 3k you can find a rare older car like these trust me
