Cheap supermarket in alcudia?

hi does anyone know of a reasonably priced supermarket in alcudia or puerto de alcudia and which road, try to save some pennies with the basics many thanks

SuperSol....pretty decent. Of course the cost of food in Spain is more than the States though!

just returned from a holiday with friends who live there. All supermarkets are pretty much the same, you can not buy tobacco in any of them, alcoholic drinks are more expensive than in France. Basic food items quite cheap (compared to UK) but imported goods (English/French etc food etc) can be quite pricey. Street markets are quite cheap, but watch the quality as it can be c**p!

Hi, I have never been to alcudia, but if you happen to see any of these supermarkets, they're cheap: DIA, Mercadona, Consumer. The 3 can be found in the area, but again, I don't know about Alcudia.
