Hi,

Is anyone aware of the cheapest way I can travel this type of journey by train, I want to travel in two months time, but national rail and thetrainline.com, the cheapest possible price is around £45 return, Will I find it any cheaper elsewhere or by doing in another way? I dont want to wait to closer the time and end up spending even more. Any ideas would be much appriciated. thanks

  1. Have a look at booking the ticket in stages  Worthing-London and London -UTX  45 return sounds good to me dont miss it,for just a quid or two ...I tell a lot on here  to use Nat Rail Enq I think its about the best server and easy to use once you find your way around it, I always say allow three hours learning your way around it before paying

  2. The £45 price is a standard return, with a railcard. It is a day return, so you must return on the same day, if you want to stay over you need an open return. No matter when you buy the ticket it will always be the same price because it is a saver return (http://www.thetrainline.com/Buy_Tickets/...

The only other way I can think of is www.megatrain.com , I don't know where worthing or Uttoxeter are, but it's worth a try,,
