  2. This can be done either online or offline in a rented office or store. You should have stated where youd like to do so.

You want market it - there are several ways:

http://www.sellit-right.com is a free UK ad service use that to promote for Biz and products.

    http://www.1planet-mart1.com/classifieds...

    http://www.classifieds.com is another.

You can create a blog to talk about what you have to offer too.

    Advertise in Yellow Pages.

  3. check out www.healthypages.co.uk there are some great postings on the forum from people setting up similar businesses.

go to business link as they will probably be able to help you.

get yourself a business coach, someone who knows what they are talking about, if you are a new startup business link will help towards the cost, ensure that your marketing is specific too vague and you will not get your message across.

  4. Here is a website that can teach you to market your business with very little to no money.  Access to the website is free.

  5. The first issue is to identify the demand for your business, Who wants it? Then ask yourself the questions: what makes my product/service special? what is its unique selling point? It may be as simple as being the only service of its kind available in the area. Then, decide on how to market it within your budger. There is an excellent (cheap) book called "Guerilla Marketing" which shows how to get effective marketing on a low cost budget. Worth trying to get a copy. Talk to your local enterprise agency and explore the grant situation/soft loans. If you are under 30 try the Princes Trust for help. Wish you well for the future.

  6. Check out the teleseminars that Today's Therapist is putting on.  They're aimed at holistic practitioners.  There's one in September about Starting on a Shoestring.

Where are you based?  Centa in London, which covers people in the Camden area also hold events for holisitic practitioners.  Their events are free and there's a marketing seminar coming up in October.

Have you contacted your local Business Link, another good source of free help and advice on marketing.  They're also good on all the things that you need to think about when starting up.

    Best of luck!
