  1. The other answer alsready stated that buffets are not common in nyc.

    If you like buffets because they allow you to sample different things, try tapas bars (there are a number of great fun places) or dim sum in chinatown.

    If you simply want lots of cheap grub, try diner-like places near the universities.


  2. Most places don't do buffet in NYC but there is hope. Indian restaurants!!! They do have buffet lunches.

    Basera on 9th Ave between 50-51 street

    Agra on Lex Ave btwn 62-63 street
