Cheaper cars at public auction OR dealer auctions,?

My goal is to find good deals on cars so I can turn around and sell the cars at the dealer auction for profit. What are the best ways to do this?

You will not make any profit on selling cars at a dealer auction.  Keep in mind, dealers want to make a maximum profit on any thing they sell.  They do not buy used cars, only ones that are turn backs on leases.

You can get the cheaper cars at a dealer auction. But you need a dealer's license to attend one, which can cost a bit of time and money. If you don't want to go through all of that you can always get friendly with a car dealer and have them take you with them to a dealer's auction. But once you start selling a certain amount of cars you're going to have to get a dealer's license anyway.
