Cheaper in the States or else where?

would it be cheaper to obtain a degree in someplace like the UK or Italy or Argentina rather than the US??

That depends on where you are from.  If you are from the U.S. it would probably be cheaper to go to school in the U.S.  I don't know about Italy or Argentina, but I know it is very expensive for a United States national to go to school in the U.K.  Interestingly, if you are a resident of the U.K. it only costs about $1000 for tuition to any school.  That doesn't apply to those with different citizenship.  Also, you have to take into account where you plan on using your degree.  You have to make sure the education you get is accredited wherever you plan on living afterwards.
