  1. CPG is right. An out-of-state student in the States is going to have to pay high tuition.

Your mother is a citizen of what country? Is it France or Germany? Universities in continental Europe are very cheap compared to the ones in the US. In Switzerland, for example, universities cost $500-600 per semester for tuition and that's it! But you have to pay for living costs, which can run high in some places. Since you're a European citizen, you could look into getting an Erasmus scholarship or scholarships for the citizens of the country your mother comes from. I studied in France as an exchange student but paid the tuition that I would have paid in the US, which was about USD 3000 per semester. I found a place to stay for USD 400/month. In Germany, apartments are more expensive and difficult to find. You could try getting a place in a dorm, which would be cheaper. All in all, if you find the right housing, it'll be cheaper to study in France or Germany.

  2. With the dollar being so low I would say the US and you can see different parts of the country if you have time, kind of expensive though.   99% of the time they will also provide housing for you since you will be an exchange student.

But Europe is also nice so you can travel alot, to visit nearby countries (which is very cheap with Ryanair ), it all depends on how you want to spend you extra time or money.  Some will not provide housing before you get there so you may want to search for small apartment somewhere near the school before arriving, but others will provide housing.

  3. Price wise, I have no idea(Id assume US, cuz of weak dollar) . But I would go to France, prettiest country in Europe next to Poland.....FRANCE!!!!!

  4. For those who use the premise that the U.S. is cheaper because of the weak dollar, has a very flawed argument. So much so that they fail to realize that:

    1) The Australian Dollar loses 0.03 cents per 1 U.S. Dollar, so in fact the exchange rate and the weakened dollar does not help the Australian currency, as 1 AUD (Australian Dollar) is worth about 97 U.S. cent.

    2) That since you are not a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States then you will pay out-of-state tuition costs which are double and sometimes triple the cost of in-state tuition. You are looking at between $18,000 and $45,000 (AUS: $18,500-$46,300).

Furthermore, it would be impossible for an international student to subsidize these expensive costs with employment due to the fact that they are only legally permitted to work 20 hours per week, on-campus and thus they work for minimum wage, which does nothing more than give the person a little extra spending money.

With that being said, the AUD loses out even more heavily to the Euro, with one dollar getting only 0.61 Euros. However, once you have resided in the EU for 3 years or more, you are then entiled to EU student tuition costs since you are an EU citizen, but until then, since you are also Australian, you will pay the non-EU tuition rates. Which will roughly be the same as paying the out-of-state tuition rates (give or take a few thousand depending on the university).

What you really need to look at is the cost of living and unfortunately I do not know much about France or Germany, having not visited since the change to the Euro all those years ago, so I am unable to advise of this issue.

  5. Try US online universities.

The Victorville International University and American Centered university aims at providing best courses in IT and Management. The course strength is the first detail to ones success and aims at both theoretical and practical exposure for the subjects.
