Cheapest 'weekend trips' abroad?

Question

Where can i find cheap weekend trips abroad, i thought mabye eurostar to france, but it tends to be quite expensive.

Thre are plently of coaches to calais but i live in the north so by the time i get to dover, and get off at calais it could take a while, so i thought mabye i could stay somewhere in dover and get a next day ferry?

Theres also bruges and germany, and ireland.

The main thing is to keep the cost down, i've splashed out a little too much on holidays this year, but with major stress at work i'd like another short one.

www.ryanair.com can be very cheap if you travel monday to thursday and saturday. friday and sunday are more expensive. take hand luggage so you dont pay extra. in the last year I have gone to Rome, Pisa, Venice, Dublin and gothemburg. I have always checked over a week or so as the flight costs fluctuate. And I can genuinely say that the costs for 2 people, INCLUDING all taxes and charges were. Rome £30 return Pisa £20 Venice £20 Dublin 4p!!! yes only four pence! all those were for two people return all in. Then try www.venere.com for hotels or www.otel.com. I prefer venere.com I think its slightly cheaper.

Fly with Wizz airlines to romania mate. Luton to Cluj Napoca...a fine city with 100.000 students ......loads going on...and cheap.
